I can't stop listening to this thing, anything cosomology is soothing to me. I got the 3 seasons of that show universe on the history channel, its relaxing. Of course I have sagan's cosmos as well and stephen hawking universe, and well.. i got tons of cosmo stuff actually... anyway I'm glad you posted this.
I find Carl Sagan, and this song, to be enjoyably optimistic. Science generally has this quality to it, which makes it unfortunate that some people view it as otherwise.
Think about it: the feeling of discovery is one of wonderment and awe, so it's fitting that the field of discovery has this feeling as inspiration for future work.
